Maryse co-founded GML in 2002. For a few years now, she primarily focuses her professional practice on civil litigation files.
Maryse grew up in Saguenay. After completing her actuarial studies at Laval University in Quebec city and working in the group insurance and pension industries in Canada and the United States, she settled in the Ottawa region with her family in late 90’s. Maryse is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.) since 1990 and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (F.C.I.A.) since 2004.
Maryse particularly loves cycling and yoga.

Guy is originally from Trois-Rivières. He obtained his B.Sc. from Laval University in 1982 where he completed undergraduate studies in Actuarial Science. He then became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 1987 and 1988, respectively. For many years, Guy volunteered his time towards the preparation and grading of exams for the Society of Actuaries. He is currently part of the Task Force of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries to develop skills and knowledge inventories to support members’ continuing professional development.
Amelia Burns, F.S.A., F.C.I.A.

Amelia was raised in Ottawa and graduated from Queen’s University with a B.Sc. Honours. She completed her undergraduate studies in Discrete Mathematics and Optimization. Upon graduating, Amelia discovered her interest in actuarial science. She has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.) and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (F.C.I.A.) since 2019. With her newfound freedom from exams she's enjoying learning new, non-actuarial skills, listening to live music and spending time with friends and family.
