Guy is originally from Trois-Rivières. He obtained his B.Sc. from Laval University in 1982 where he completed undergraduate studies in Actuarial Science. He then became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 1987 and 1988, respectively. For many years, Guy volunteered his time towards the preparation and grading of exams for the Society of Actuaries. He is currently part of the Task Force of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries to develop skills and knowledge inventories to support members’ continuing professional development. When he’s not hard at work, Guy’s three sons manage to keep him very busy.

Maryse is native of the region where it takes one blueberry to make a pie… Saguenay Lac-St-Jean!  After completing her education in Quebec city and working in the insurance and pension industry in New York and Chicago, she settled in the Ottawa region in late 90’s.  She joined a long time friend Guy in the foundation of GML Actuarial Services in 2002.  Maryse greatly enjoys this small business environment where building on each individual’s strenghts is the key to success. She brings a passionate commitment to meeting her clients’ expectations in a timely manner. Maryse handles both family law and civil litigation cases, with a particular interest in the latter. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (F.C.I.A.).
